I really don’t have much to say about this book apart from the fact that it is breathtakingly beautiful! I was very lucky to receive it as a gift from a friend and it is one of my most treasured books.
Each page you turn leads to another stunning photograph and the book fills my gypsy soul full of wanderlust to explore this beautiful planet more. The collection of photographs is comprehensive and well thought out.

The sheer size of the book means the photos are varied, large and detailed.

There is an index at the back of the book with a little bit more information about where each photograph was taken and the name of the photographer. The photographs are featured as thumbnails too. I would have perhaps liked a little bit more information about the places pictured nearer to the photos. Then you wouldn’t have to keep turning to the back of this heavy coffee table book, but I realise this might have taken away from the aesthetics of the book overall, which is why it has been done like this I guess. I had trusty Google to hand anyway, which gave me all the details I was looking for!

I think this book is the perfect present for book lovers and those who dream of far off places. It’s a lovely book to add to any collection. I never tire of picking it up and browsing through it.
Do you have a favourite coffee table book?
Wishing you all Sandy Toes,
